National Seating & Mobility is Hiring an Instructional Designer Senior Near Franklin, TN

Core Duties:
  • Maintain accurate status of projects, milestones, and tasks; Define, document, and communicate risks, obstacles, and opportunities.
  • Review and evaluate training materials to ensure learning objectives are aligned with the business need, support the intended audience, and remain consistent with brand standards; Provide revisions to existing materials based on SME/Stakeholder feedback.
  • Oversee and participate in the delivery of new content launches to ensure materials are aligned and delivered effectively.
  • Collaborate with assigned L&D Staff, leadership teams, and subject matter experts to design small and large scale, engaging learning that enhances business performance.
  • Utilize data-based decision making to establish and adjust best practices related to end user learning as identified by the evaluation tools.
  • Design learning methodologies for various means of presentation such as online learning, instructor-led, video presentation, webinars, etc.
  • Manage the development of instructional materials (tutorials, job aids, tests, etc.) that transform complex information into professionally written, interactive multi-media instruction.
  • Serve as primary LMS Administrator for the Organization.
  • Deliver reports, queries, and metrics.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Three (5) years of demonstrated experience using technologies to design training materials.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, Educational Technology or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Advanced Skills using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Evidence of knowledge of applying Bloom's Taxonomy to curriculum objectives and backwards planning as it pertains to instructional design.
  • Planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects combined with a proven ability to lead others towards timely completion of projects.
  • Experience using the ADDIE Instructional Design Model.
